many from $ Michael's stamps..... PTI, SU.....wonderful papers....some gauze, sizzix dies......nestabilities..... crumpled tissue paper....and great mini paper packs i bought last year on sale....

the local store i have sold cards to in the past called yesterday....they missed me !  i will call for appt to come and show my new wares next week.  also told them i now quilt....so maybe i can unload some of that...  seems i have to "create" and it is nice to sell stuff to be able to replenish supplies and inspiration....

door mitten

can be a neat gift bag....got the pattern from an old quilting magazine...they said to fill it with packs of hot chocolate and leave on a neighbor's door.....

ahhhh, a huge SU stamp...works well for partial stamping.  i stamped this one and then cut into thirds....the inside has the final third.....

i can see this on some winter/christmas cards in the future....in person the detail is amazing...this one is stamped in red and embossed with clear EP

used a nestability die to cut window, put  ribbon scraps on base paper and then added the cut out over top.

little all purpose bags

learned how to make these last week at a quilting class (thank you Jo)...

here's 3 i made....one for each grand...inside, a special pillowcase for each of them.

none of the bags are the same size...although that was not my intention.  who knows how that happened....but they are cute as can be.

new lap quilt

this one measures 41"-56"......made two mug 'n muffin rugs to match with the leftover scrappy patches.

another tote

this one is a bit different....i used fusible fleece instead of pelon on it and have channel quilted the bag base.  the straps have a bit of red checked fabric for a bit of punch. same felt flower though !!

tote bag

ginkgo leaves remind me of where i grew up...of course, the leaves on the ginkgo trees were not red !

this one is easy to make......cut a felt flower using my nestibilities flower die.....seems i like to add flowers to anything i make....

Bee happy quilt

love the yellows and blacks and white! got the fabric at hobby lobby.....it is 41-55 inches. i think the yellow reads solid, but it is really a bunch of busy bees! and the binding is black with white dots....

ice cream cone

another blast from the past....a sizzix cupcake die was used for the ice cream scoops (an untouched for years die i might add)....neopolitan with a cherry on top.....i cut the cherry from sparkly fun foam...the cherry was in the cupcake die.  made the cone by cutting a  triangular piece of light brown cardstock and running it thru with my SU fav embossing folder to give the appearance of a waffle cone.  the ice cream scoops have texture as well....with the CB swirls folder and a bit of clear glitter.....3 light green rhinestones add another bit of bling

faux cathedral window

this sort of resembles the cathedral window quilting pattern....i used an old sizzlit die for this....nice to use something that i had not touched in years !!  a few gold dots pop it a bit....after assembling (and before the dots!) i ran it thru my sizzix with my SU embossing folder.....i keep using that one since i reminds me of textured fabric.  you can't see it here, but it does give a fabric-y look.

thread catcher

made this with the help of two quilting friends....one supplied the pattern and guidance and the other the math ability.  i would have ditched the project had i been doing it alone.  so thank you Lee and Carol.  you're the best !

for non quilters....this hangs by your machine and you put cut threads in it.  there is a pincushion filled with sand in that rectangle at the top. i love it !  perhaps one day i will have patience.  maybe not.

rag quilt

my first rag quilt made from flannel.  used 7.5 in squares....the back was supposed to be all the same but i reversed two,  didn't want to rip them out after i discovered my mistake so i cut hot pink felt flowers using my sizzix and put a lime green fleece circle in the center.....i guess it is sort of "lemons to lemonade"?

i used some SU designer paper for the box.  got directions from the weekly inkling from splitcoast

 the bellyband image is from an inkadinkadoo set i got at TJ Maxx of all places for $1.99.  can't beat that.  a brad and a flat sparkly dot make up his body.  would make a great gift card holder since it folds flat.  thanks to beatte for the inspiration
