stamps:  PTI winter jar $$ store gift bag embossed with a snowflake CB folder.....the candy cane striped background paper....from  Joann's stack from year gone by !! i stamped snowflakes in the jar (hard to see) and used puffy embossing powder .... by mistake.  but it looks OK.

vintage that paper a few years ago, background is cardstock from my mind's eye stack last year's edition.
the scalloped circle mats are made from a $$ large gift bag in an icy blue and two circle nestability dies.....the pretty pale blue is a nice change from traditional christmas colors for me

my mind's eye paper, PTI winter jar fillers stamp set.  the shiny red scalloped border was made with a large shiny red gift bag from $$ store.  using bags is an inexpensive way to get expensive looking paper !  and it embosses spectacularly

simple elegant.  all words are from PTI christmas sets....and  the idea from susan raihala's website....paper from My Mind's Eye, versafine red and green ink was used to stamp.  various button like things add a bit of dimension....

three trees.....looks simple, but boy was it hard to do the triangles.  out of all my dies, punches etc...not one triangle !  so i had to freehand and measure.  yikes.

this idea is cased from alli miles' website.....gorgeous creations.

the sentiment is from the PTI signature christmas set, background paper from My Mind's Eye...and vrious scraps.

happy snowman

penny black stamp......papers from basic gray and my minds eye.....a bit of clear glitter, a sheer double bow (made with the bow easy).....and you have an easy cute card ! i stamped the scarf on the basic gray paper and cut it out, popping it up with dimensionals....a bit of copic coloring on nose and ear muffs took no time !

well, i have no idea what, if any at all, pattern this is, but it is so easy to make but looks a bit complicated.

cut two 2 5/8 inch squares of solid color, then eight 1 inch squares of two cordinating patterns...... place the solid ones together to form a star of david.....then place the patterned squares onto the edges.....alternating patterns.  a gem or a button in the middle finishes it off.

the background paper is run thru the CB with a folder from the CB oriental collection. it's a great way to use up scraps....and we all have them !!

found out that this quilting pattern is called "card trick"

spooky halloween

memory box cat stamp probably will look good in a winter scene as well.......i used glitter on the light and masked the edges, inked with yellow to put a "shine" on the kitty. lamp post and kitty stamped on vellum.... i can not remember the name of the background paper....but it is a recent purchase.... perhaps memory box? i used every bit of that pack !!  great spooky paper.
